Pacelli Company’s debut in Thailand

Pacelli Thailandia

Agricultural firm Francesco Pacelli enters the Thai market with two of its labels: Malvarosa and Terre Rosse, from Magliocco grapes.

A series of market tests were carried out, with positive results, by the Italian Food Asia consortium in a dozen points of sale in Bangkok and the surrounding area, starting with one of the capital’s most renowned Italian restaurants, iO Osteria, located in the Groove Center of the central Siam Square.

The two labels were appreciated by guests at the tastings, receiving very high ratings for products that meet Asian tastes.

Malvarosa is a rosé made from sweet Magliocco grapes and a small part of Merlot, a bouquet with delicate hints of blackberry and cherry. Savoury and harmonious, it surprises with its decisive and enveloping character. It is an organic product (13%).

Terra Rossa is a full-bodied red with very intense colour and bouquet, reminiscent of a Montepulciano D’Abruzzo, with notes of coffee and crunchy red fruits, pepper and geranium. The taste is full, satisfying, warm without heaviness, with a very fine and composed tannic texture. It is an organic product (13%).

The two Pacelli estate labels will now be imported into Thailand by the Italian Food Asia consortium and distributed in Thailand by the official distributor, Easy Wine, from February 2020.
