Officina del Prosciutto new in-house distributor for Italian Food Asia

The Italian Food Asia consortium, an international group of Italian and Thai companies, is enriched with a new member: Officina del Prosciutto, which will join Easy Wine in the distribution of wines and will open the Food sector for the consortium.

As of today, memberships are therefore possible for Italian Food companies (fresh, frozen, dry and canned) interested in the Thai market.

Officina del Prosciutto’s membership is a springboard for the consortium, as the company is very structured, albeit young: it was founded in 2018 by Francesco Amatori, known for having created last decade Aroy Italy, the largest distributor of Italian products in Thailand, later acquired by a large industrial group.

Franceco’s eagerness to get back into the game and his appreciation for the innovative concept proposed by Italian Food Asia pushed the parties to join forces in this project that is becoming ambitious.

The distribution network will in fact cover the whole of Thailand with distribution points in Bangkok, Samut Prakan, Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Roi Et, Khon Kaen, and finally also in Cambodia, with Siem Reap and Phnom Penh.

The project will be effective from April, with new products and a strengthened sales network. The Italian food Asia website has been revamped and is online from today, 1 March 2020.
