After weathering the Covid storm and re-establishing serenity on the Board by disembarking ill-tempered passengers, Italian Food Asia and Easy Wine begin their promotional campaign ahead of any optimistic forecasts.
With the brand restyling complete, we finally set off on our mission: to promote Italian wines and food.
The first commitment will be a sales test in one of the country’s most prestigious gourmet markets: the EmQuartier Bangkok. From 16 to 30 September, Easy Wine will be engaged in having a selection of its best wines tasted together with cold meats, cheeses and ready-made dishes of Italian tradition. An important test in view of agreements with large-scale retail companies that intend to test their customers’ appreciation for Italian food here. The event was sponsored by ICE Bangkok..
At the same time, an exhibition will be held in the nearby Emporium, another mall in Bangkok’s luxury hub. At the EmQuartier, mainly wines and fresh food will be offered, while at the Emporium, preference will be given to preserved food. Free tastings will be available from 10am to 10pm every day and it will of course be possible to buy the products on display.
From 22 to 26 September, Italian Food Asia will welcome visitors from the HO.RE.CA and Retail Channel to the 2020 edition of Thaifex, one of the world’s largest food fairs, this year marked by the impossibility for foreign suppliers to attend. The organisation has decided to proceed anyway, giving a clear sign of continuity to which Italian Food Asia gladly responds in the name of all its members who have believed in the project.
